Dr. Dongbin Wang, is a postdoc research associate at Division of Air Pollution Study and Its Control in School of Environment, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China.
Dr. Wang has been working on different projects about Aerosol Studies, which are funded by the US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA), the South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD), the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), Ministry of Science and Technology of China, and National Natural Science Foundation of China. The overarching objectives of Dr. Wang’s research includes development of novel aerosol monitoring technologies as well as estimation of physical, chemical and toxicological properties of ambient PM. On the other hand, Dr. Wang is also interested in identifying the major contributors to the adverse health effects linked to PM and understanding how toxic mechanisms vary with the source, chemical composition, and physical characteristics of PM.
Dr. Wang earned his Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Tsinghua University in China, a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, and his Doctoral Degree from University of Southern California (USC).
